I found this comment about the doyouinverts on another forum (not that I spend all day idly flipping through the referrals section of my webstats or anything...ooooh no...):

"A UK gaming radio show recently turned me on to an unknown musical group called 'the doyouinverts', and since you are a serious musician/gamer I thought I'd share it with you. It's weird trying to describe this, I guess it's like if Bob Dylan was a modern hardcore gamer, or something like that... "

I lol'ed. As Bob is still alive, clearly my next avenue towards True Internet Fame is to approach him and suggest a duet. Hell, his career could do with a boost, and what better way than with the sparkling musical and lyrical talent of the doyouinverts? Bob, if you're reading this, mail me, m'kay?

I also found this more realistic summary of the doyouinverts from a UK:Resistance commenter "Are they supposed to be musicians? Utter, utter, rubish. Drab, monotone, tuneless".

I bet Bob faced the same sort of insults when he was starting out. I just think to myself - what would Bob do?

Anyway - I finally finished the Christmas single. It's dreadful, but I'll post it up on Monday after One Life Left has gone out.
