Long suffering fans of the doyouinverts will know that we made our first bid for Internet fame by appearing in the letters section of
One Life Left, with a hastily produced song called Gold Membership. The original track was packed full of rude words and it took some canny editing from Ste to make it
literally broadcastable. Thankfully, the bleeped sections formed part of an amusing game of "guess the swears" that lasted for at least 2 extra podcasts, and resulted in Ann being bombarded with rude e-mails.
The rest, as they say, is history.
As part of the Classssixxxxxx Traxxxxx feature, here on the doyouinverts blog, I thought it would be a good idea to revisit the song, tidy it up a little, remove the swears (well, the bad swears) and repost it in a 2009 version. Warning: still contains one mild swear.
